Meet Danielle — Your JourneyDance® Facilitator

Danielle is a JourneyDance® Facilitator, Certified Mindset Coach, and Moonologer who is passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies through movement.

In her classes, she weaves together music, somatic movement, mindset practices, and lunar wisdom to create experiences that support emotional release, self-discovery, and deeper connection with inner guidance.

Dance has been part of Danielle’s life for as long as she can remember. What began as a personal love of movement has grown into a calling to share the healing power of embodied practices with others.

She creates warm, trauma-aware spaces where women can move freely, explore curiosity, and reconnect with the wisdom already within them.

  • What is JourneyDance?

JourneyDance® is a transformational movement practice that blends music, guided movement, and somatic exploration.

Instead of learning choreography, you’re invited to move in your own authentic way while being gently guided through a themed journey.

The focus isn’t on how it looks.

It’s about how it feels in your body.

    Many participants experience:

    - Emotional release

    - Stress relief

    - Increased energy

    - A deeper connection to themselves

    And most importantly — joy.

  • What is Somatic Movement?

The word somatic comes from the Greek word soma, meaning body.

Somatic movement practices help us become more aware of the sensations, emotions, and patterns held in our bodies.

Instead of analyzing everything through the mind, we begin to ask:

What is my body feeling right now?

    What might it need?

Through movement and attention, we can begin to release tension, shift old patterns, and reconnect with ourselves.

  • Why Dance?

Humans have danced for thousands of years.

Across cultures, movement has been used to celebrate, grieve, heal, and reconnect with life.

    When we move:

    - Stress hormones decrease

    - Feel-good chemicals increase

    - Energy begins to flow again

Dance helps us reconnect with vitality, expression, and joy.

It invites us to move emotions that words sometimes can’t reach and to experience our bodies as sources of strength, wisdom, and resilience.

And sometimes, it simply reminds us how good it feels to move, breathe, and be fully present.

Still wondering about something? Reach out anytime — I’m happy to help.

  • No. JourneyDance® is not about choreography.

We focus on free-form movement, allowing the body to lead the dance.

  • If your child wants to join you, who am I to say no?

That said, I encourage you to carve out these 75 minutes for yourself.

Dropping into your body is easier when you have the space and mindset to fully be present.

But dancing with your kiddos is still better than not dancing at all — and they’ll probably love it too.

  • No. I’m a certified JourneyDance® Facilitator, as well as a Certified Conscious Dance Facilitator and Kundalini Dance Facilitator.

My training allows me to guide embodied movement journeys and create supportive spaces for exploration.

Dance has always been part of my life. When I was younger, I even dreamed of attending the Juilliard School.

Being able to share JourneyDance® with others truly lights me up. It’s a deep passion of mine, and this practice has changed me forever.

  • Yes — absolutely.

While your experience may look different, you can still participate fully and enjoy the journey by working with the parts of your body that feel comfortable to move.

This practice is about listening to your body, not pushing past its limits.

  • The best way to describe it is eclectic.

You’ll likely hear a mix of music you may have never heard before. Each class has its own flow and energy, and the playlist changes weekly.

One thing you should know about me — I love creating a great playlist.

  • No shoes are needed — and ideally you wouldn’t.

Most people dance barefoot or in socks so they can move more freely and stay connected to the floor.

That said, if wearing shoes feels better for your body, please do. You can always take them off later if you like.

  • Just a few simple things:

    • Comfortable clothes you can move in (layers work best)

    • Water

    • A blanket or yoga mat

    • An open mind and a little curiosity

    • A Lightweight Scarf, Blanket, or Towel (optional, for dancing)

    • Headphones/Earbuds (for a more immersive experience)

  • Your body is always your guide.

In this space, everything is an invitation — never a requirement.

You are always welcome to modify movements, pause, sit, lie down, or simply observe at any time.

Listening to your body and honoring its needs is an important part of the practice

  • Absolutely!

Just send them the link to this page and have them register so I know they’re coming.

This way, they’ll also receive the Zoom link, reminders, and replay access.

  • Yes.

Classes are recorded (only me, not participants), and a replay is available for two weeks after class.

Members receive ongoing access to the full replay library.

  • This is a women-centered healing space.

We welcome all women — cis, trans, and nonbinary people who feel spiritually, somatically, and socially aligned with women-centered healing.

These spaces can allow for a level of openness, vulnerability, and connection that feels supportive for many participants.

  • Not at all.

When we first meet, I simply invite you to say hello so we can acknowledge each other as humans sharing the space.

After that, you’re welcome to turn your camera off and move in whatever way feels most comfortable.

  • That’s completely normal.

Most people come to their first class feeling a little nervous — and quickly realize that everyone is focused on their own movement and experience.

There’s no right or wrong way to move here.

  • Not at all.

Many people dance in small living rooms, bedrooms, or even beside their desks.

All you really need is enough space to move comfortably and safely.

  • Perfect. Most people who join are brand new.

You don’t need rhythm, dance experience, or any special ability — just a willingness to move and be curious.

Ready to Experience It for Yourself?

You don’t need rhythm.

You don’t need experience.

Just a little curiosity.
