Why work with the Moon Cycles?
The moon offers a rhythm.
In modern life we rarely pause.
We push forward, power through, and keep moving — even when our bodies are asking for something different.
The moon offers a natural rhythm that reminds us:
there are times to begin
times to grow
times to release
and times to rest
The New Moon invites intention and possibility.
The Full Moon brings illumination and release.
When we pair these moments with movement, breath, and reflection, we create space to listen to the body and reconnect with what matters most.

Most women come to their first class feeling nervous — and leave wondering why they waited so long.
"Working with the new and full moon is powerful, but when you add breath, movement, and sound through the somatic movement practice, JourneyDance®, it creates a rich and deep energetic experience that makes the moon work amplified, more profound.
For me, it puts the “Magic” in Moonology."
— Danielle
Meet Danielle — Your Moonologer & JourneyDance Facilitator
Danielle is the founder of Superfine Synergy, a nonprofit community devoted to trauma-informed somatic healing and supportive spaces for women.
She is a certified JourneyDance® Facilitator, Mindset Coach, Moonologer, and Yoga Nidra guide, and is passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies through movement, reflection, and ritual.
In her lunar gatherings, Danielle weaves together music, somatic movement, breath, journaling, and moon wisdom to create experiences that support nervous-system regulation, emotional awareness, and deeper connection with inner guidance.
She especially loves working with the rhythms of the moon, using each phase as an invitation for reflection, release, and new beginnings.
Dance has been part of Danielle’s life for as long as she can remember. What began as a personal love of movement gradually became a calling to share the power of embodied practices with others.
Today, she creates warm, trauma-aware spaces where women can move freely, explore with curiosity, and reconnect with the wisdom already within them.
Love for Lunar Wisdom
"I love manifesting with the new moon and releasing with the full moon — and to be able to do this with a group of like-minded women is even more powerful!" — S.D.
Why Moonology?
For thousands of years, cultures around the world have observed the rhythms of the moon as a guide for reflection, growth, and renewal.
Each phase of the moon offers a different invitation.
The New Moon is a time for intention-setting — planting seeds and opening to new possibilities under a dark sky.
The Full Moon brings illumination. It highlights what is ready to shift, inviting release, forgiveness, and completion.
Working with these rhythms helps bring greater awareness to your inner world — your desires, your patterns, and the changes you may be ready to make.
When we pair lunar reflection with movement, breath, and ritual, the experience becomes embodied — supporting both release and intention in a way the body can participate in.
Love for Lunar Wisdom
"Danielle’s new and full moon classes are a very special experience. The choice of music, combined with Danielle’s messaging and ceremony is spectacular. Her knowledge about moon cycles and moon rituals was informative and extremely healing." — C.M.
Why JourneyDance?
JourneyDance® is more than a dance class — it’s a guided somatic movement experience that invites you to explore the connection between body, mind, and emotion.
Through music, breath, sound, and intuitive movement, the practice encourages self-expression, curiosity, and embodied awareness.
Each JourneyDance® is thoughtfully guided to help you move tension, reconnect with your body, and explore what you may be carrying physically and emotionally.
There’s no choreography to follow and no right way to move.
Instead, you’re invited to listen to your body, follow your own rhythm, and discover what movement feels supportive in the moment.
Many women find that when they give themselves permission to move this way, something begins to shift — the body softens, the nervous system settles, and space opens for new insight, release, and renewal.
At its heart, JourneyDance® is a reminder that the body holds deep wisdom — and movement can be a powerful way to reconnect with it.

-
No. JourneyDance® is not about choreography.
We focus on free-form movement, allowing the body to lead the dance.
-
If your child wants to join you, who am I to say no?
That said, I encourage you to carve out these 75 minutes for yourself.
Dropping into your body is easier when you have the space and mindset to fully be present. But dancing with your kiddos is still better than not dancing at all — and they’ll probably love it too.
-
No. I’m a certified JourneyDance® Facilitator, as well as a Certified Conscious Dance Facilitator and Kundalini Dance Facilitator.
My training allows me to guide embodied movement journeys and create supportive spaces for exploration.Dance has always been part of my life. When I was younger, I even dreamed of attending the Juilliard School.

This practice is about listening to your body, not pushing past its limits.
-
The best way to describe it is eclectic.
You’ll likely hear a mix of music you may have never heard before. Each class has its own flow and energy, and the playlist changes weekly.
One thing you should know about me — I love creating a great playlist.
-
No shoes are needed — and ideally you wouldn’t.
Most people dance barefoot or in socks so they can move more freely and stay connected to the floor.
That said, if wearing shoes feels better for your body, please do. You can always take them off later if you like.
