An Embodied Empowerment Gathering for Women
For women who are holding everything together — and feeling the weight of it — we gather monthly for a JourneyDance® + Yoga Nidra experience to move, integrate, and rise together.
This month, we’re exploring what it means to take up space — safely.
Not by pushing, performing, or becoming “more.”
But by gently noticing where you’ve learned to hold back, silence yourself, or stay small… and allowing a little more of you to be here.
Through movement and rest, we’ll explore expression, expansion, and the body’s relationship to visibility, voice, and self-trust.
Because for many of us, being fully seen, heard, or expressed hasn’t always felt safe.
So instead of forcing openness, we practice slowly. Gently. Together.
In a grounded, supportive space where everything is an invitation.
Through JourneyDance®, you’ll be guided through a choice-based somatic movement experience exploring expression, expansion, and what it feels like to take up a little more space in your body.
Not by forcing anything open — but by noticing what happens when you allow yourself to move, express, and be seen in small, supported ways.
We then transition into trauma-informed Yoga Nidra, where your system can rest, integrate, and soften.
This is where the experience begins to settle and land.
We close with optional space for reflection and connection — because healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
No choreography. No performance. Camera on or off — always your choice.
Share or simply listen — no pressure. A grounded, supportive environment.
Most of us were taught how to stay small, keep going, or hold everything alone — not how to feel safe expressing ourselves or receiving support.
Brave Women is a space to practice something different.
Not perfection. Practice.
All bodies and all levels of experience are welcome.
No dance background needed.
